In conjunction with Mental Health America and Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation, Paradigm Treatment Centers is pleased to announce its participation in the “21 Days To Be Kind Challenge.” This unique, daily initiative was inspired by the idea that healthy habits really form when they are repeated for 21 consecutive days.
The challenge, which concludes on the U.N. International Day of Peace, calls on participants to practice one act of kindness each and every day from September 1st to September 21st. The challenge provides Paradigm Treatment Centers, its partners, clients, and colleagues with an opportunity to start the new school year by establishing more compassionate habits meant to last all year.
“Acts of kindness make a lasting impression and can literally change lives,” said Paul Gionfriddo, president and CEO, Mental Health America. “Amid all the trauma, bullying, and hatred today, we need them – and the love they bring – more than ever.” Paradigm will participate in this wonderful initiative by enlisting in pointed acts of kindness each and every day for ourselves, our clients and our community at our various locations, and by posting these efforts and related content to our social media channels.
“Kindness is a simple yet powerful practice. That’s why we’re inviting everyone to join us in establishing kinder habits and building a culture of kindness by putting kindness into action each day from September 1st to September 21st – being kind to your body, mind, and community,” said Cynthia Germanotta, co-founder and president of Born This Way Foundation.
Paradigm is thrilled to be taking part in this initiative, and we invite our wonderful, robust community of mental health advocates, champions and affiliates to join us in taking this pledge and sharing their experiences on social media by tagging us in their posts, using the tags #bekind21, @paradigmmalibu, @paradigmsanfrancisco, @ladygaga and @mentalhealthamerica.
